Proactive Approaches to Maintain Optimal Foot Health

Discover the difference of professional foot care today!

Nursing foot care is a specialized service delivered by a nurse who has graduated from an accredited nursing program and maintains a current active practicing license with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.

Registered Nurses (RN, 4 years with Bachelor’s Degree) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN, 2 years training) need to be in good standing and require additional training for Foot Care in order to work in this capacity

To offer nursing foot care, the nurse undergoes additional education and training, completing specialized courses in foot care. Adherence to infection prevention and control protocols is a fundamental aspect of the foot care nurse's practice. This includes meticulous sterilization and maintenance of tools to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
